Job summary
Manpower Group (USA) is seeking an Automation Technician to support maintenance and automation systems in Hanover, PA. The role requires proactive problem-solving and attention to detail within an industrial environment.
The technician will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, repair PLC-controlled equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure OSHA compliance. Strong reading of schematics and blueprints is essential.
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V AC.
- Ability to read electrical schematics for DC control circuits.
- Mechanical troubleshooting and reading blueprints/assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of general industrial maintenance practices and tools.
- Basic computer skills with Windows and maintenance software.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ASRS cranes, mini-load shuttle systems and related equipment.
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled systems.
- Identify equipment issues proactively and communicate findings to leadership.
- Complete preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
