Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking an Automation Technician to support maintenance and automation systems in Hanover, PA. The role requires proactive problem-solving and attention to detail within an industrial environment.

The technician will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, repair PLC-controlled equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure OSHA compliance. Strong reading of schematics and blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V AC.
Ability to read electrical schematics for DC control circuits.
Mechanical troubleshooting and reading blueprints/assembly drawings.
Knowledge of general industrial maintenance practices and tools.
Basic computer skills with Windows and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ASRS cranes, mini-load shuttle systems and related equipment.
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled systems.
Identify equipment issues proactively and communicate findings to leadership.
Complete preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
Maintain OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
