Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Automation for a 12-hour rotating night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing various assembly, printing, and packaging machines within a high‑tech drug delivery device environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and compliance with cGMP and 5S guidelines. Requires a technical background, PLC basics, and ability to work with SAP and Lean manufacturing concepts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a technical, hands-on position is required.
• Experience with complex assembly automation preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics is required.
• PLC programming/troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report unsafe conditions.
• Read, use, and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Identify acceptable and non-acceptable product as per Quality policies.
• Respond to machine alarms and address root causes.
• Follow 5S guidelines and document inspections per GMP.
• Input maintenance work orders into SAP and monitor status.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical malfunctions.
