Job summary

Divert's Longview, WA facility is hiring an Assistant Technician for night shifts. You will support the food analysis and recovery process, inspect and prepare organic streams, and assist with maintaining equipment used in anaerobic digestion to produce RNG.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 6–12 months in maintenance or auto mechanics; forklifts and pressure washers experience is a plus. The role offers safety gear, overtime, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing/production preferred.
• 6–12 months maintenance or auto mechanic exposure preferred.
• Experience operating pressure washers and forklifts is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, breakdown, clean, and stack organic material bins.
• Wear PPE and operate assigned equipment safely.
• Operate equipment such as sweeper and power washers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and escalate concerns.
• Assist with basic PM tasks and other operations as assigned.
• Participate in shift handoffs, trainings, and meetings.
