Job summary

Divert is hiring an Assistant Technician in Mechanicsburg to support our food analysis and recovery processes. You will perform prep, cleaning, light maintenance, and related tasks under the supervision of the Lead Technician in our Analytics, Modular and RNG facilities.

The role includes a 6a-6:30p dayshift on a 2/2/3 schedule, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and consistent quality. Prior manufacturing experience is valued and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• 6-12 months maintenance, industrial maintenance, or auto mechanic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes on various tasks including the inspection, breakdown, cleaning, and stacking of organic material bins.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and escalates concerns to Lead Technician or Managers in real time.
• Operation of hand pallet jacks.
• Assists Lead Technician with basic PM tasks and other operational activities as assigned.
• Participation in all shift handoff meetings, scheduled trainings, and other meeting as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
