Divert Inc. in Turlock, CA is seeking an Assistant Technician to support the food analysis and recovery process on the night shift, 6pm–6:30am, reporting to Plant Supervisors. You will perform prep, cleaning, light maintenance and related tasks.

The role requires safety awareness, ability to operate forklifts and equipment, wear PPE, and participate in shift handoffs and trainings. A high school diploma is preferred, with 6–12 months of maintenance or related experience encouraged.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6-12 months maintenance/industrial maintenance or auto mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience operating pressure washers and forklifts preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English (preferred).
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Executes on tasks including inspection, breakdown, cleaning, and stacking of organic material bins.
• Wear proper PPE for duties assigned.
• Operating other equipment such as sweeper, power washers, HMI interfaces.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and escalates concerns in real time.
• Forklift duties including unloading trucks and processing food waste.
• Assist with basic PM tasks and other operational activities as assigned.
• Participation in shift handoffs, trainings, and meetings.
