Job summary

Divert Inc. is hiring Assistant Technicians to support our food analysis and recovery operations across our analytics, modular and RNG facilities. You will perform prep, cleaning, light maintenance and related activities under the direction of the Lead Technician.

The role follows Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6am–6pm. This safety-sensitive position requires attention to safety and teamwork; benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• 6–12 months maintenance, industrial maintenance, or auto mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience operating pressure washers and hand pallet jacks preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills.
• English communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes on various tasks including the inspection, breakdown, cleaning, and stacking of organic material bins
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and escalates concerns to Lead Technician or Managers in real time
• Operation of hand pallet jacks
• Assists Lead Technician with basic PM tasks and other operational activities as assigned
• Participation in all shift handoff meetings, scheduled trainings, and other meeting as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
