Job summary

Crosby’s Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment in New York. You will support the Team Leader, supervise staff, and ensure a clean, welcoming store that drives profitability.

Responsibilities include overseeing customer experience, store operations, merchandising, and compliance with safety and company policies. Prior supervisory experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Serve Safe certification preferred.
• Strong math skills for cash handling.
• Retail or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Supervise team members and assist with scheduling.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and inventory management.
• Assist with cash handling, deposits, and payroll-related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company policies.
