Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the third shift to lead planned, scheduled, and emergency maintenance operations on the plant floor. You will guide a team, ensure safety and compliance, review work packages, and coordinate with planners to prioritize tasks.

The role requires at least five years in manufacturing/maintenance supervision, strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, drives, and CMMS (SAP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions, and related mechanical equipment.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial drives.
• SAP or comparable computerized maintenance management system experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team's compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements.
• Attend daily operations shift-handover meetings to review events from the previous 24 hours.
• Lead maintenance shift-handover meetings and review downtime, completed work orders, outstanding issues, and follow-up actions.
• Represent maintenance during production meetings and communicate equipment-related priorities and concerns.
• Assign work orders and provide each team member with a complete workload at the beginning of the shift.
• Partner with planners and schedulers to manage the maintenance backlog and establish work priorities.
• Spend at least 60% of the shift on the production floor engaging with maintenance mechanics and serving as the maintenance liaison to production.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ensure maintenance jobs are completed correctly.
• Manage crew payroll, overtime, attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism according to established site policies.
• Ensure labor hours, materials, failure causes, corrective actions, component information, and equipment conditions are documented accurately in SAP.
• Own continuous-improvement activities for assigned equipment areas, including improvements to Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
• Lead safety-awareness and information-sharing meetings.
• Train maintenance personnel and other users on proper SAP procedures.
