Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Local 68 Apprentice Engineer for a 11pm-7am shift. The role involves general building maintenance, custodial duties, and light repair work across multiple properties.

You will work under supervision and support engineers with daily tasks and emergencies. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, relevant apprenticeship or trade school background, and at least 1 year in a commercial property setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Participation in apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 1+ year of related experience in a commercial property setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance under close supervision.
• Carry out custodial, grounds, and minor maintenance tasks.
• Assist engineers with loading, unloading, and errands.
• Replace door hardware, locks, and keys.
• Paint interior/exterior surfaces and minor repairs.
• Replace light bulbs/lamps/fixtures, maintain cleanliness.
• Move furniture and assist with setup.
• Respond to emergencies and service requests promptly.
• Monitor landscaping, sidewalks, common areas, and parking.
• Comply with codes, safety regs, and training.
