Job summary

The Anesthesia Technician - Night Shift at MUSC supports licensed anesthesia providers by preparing and maintaining monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems. You will assist in assembling equipment and supplies, and help with patient care tasks during procedures across diverse patient ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a healthcare facility or related setting.
• Anesthesia technician experience preferred; BLS/CPR competencies required within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed anesthesia providers in preparation and maintenance of patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems.
• Assist in acquisition, preparation, assembly and application of equipment and supplies for anesthesia administration.
• Perform supportive patient care tasks and help attending anesthesiologists, residents and CRNAs during procedures.
