Job summary

The MUSC Children's Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support a 36-hour weekly night-shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. Under a Registered Nurse’s supervision, you will perform multi-skilled tasks to support decentralized, patient-centered care and help achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional consideration for Associate/Bachelor’s, healthcare experience, nursing enrollment, or CNA/CMA certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PCT II requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree or relevant healthcare experience or CNA/CMA certification.
• BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• The PCT performs multi-skilled activities to support decentralized patient-centered care.
• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, supports desired patient outcomes.
