Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) CHS - Children's Ambulatory Center (Offsite) seeks an Anesthesia Technician I to assist licensed providers with preparation and maintenance of monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems, stocking supplies, and patient transport.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of direct patient care, and BLS within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Experience with anesthesia equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed anesthesia providers in preparation and maintenance of monitoring devices and delivery systems.
• Stock operating rooms and offsite sites with supplies.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from care areas.
• Support anesthesia procedures and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
