Stanley Black & Decker in Shelbyville, Kentucky is hiring a Set Up Punch Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am). The role requires operation, changeover, and maintenance of punching equipment, with a salary of $24.02/hour total including shift premium.

The position is on-site at Shelbyville, part of a global manufacturing team with access to comprehensive benefits and training. You’ll join a team focusing on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a 6S environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English; understand safety and quality instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• No written disciplinary action for policy violations in last 6 months and on attendance in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to maintain flow and meet service level goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment and apply 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and QA on FPI.
• Properly fill out documentation and labels.
• Handle scrap, rework, and mixed product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
