Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a Set Up Punch Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am). You will operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot and clean punching equipment to maintain steady production flow and meet quality standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read blueprints, basic math and computer skills, and fluency in English. Overtime may be required; competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Read and write English; understand safety and quality instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• No written disciplinary action for violations within last six months and no attendance issues in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot and clean machinery to maintain flow.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and document labels and scrap appropriately.
• Handle scrap, rework and mixed product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
