Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Shelbyville, Kentucky is hiring a Set Up Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). You will operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to keep product flowing and meet service level goals.

This on-site role requires basic math, blueprint reading, and the ability to read instructions. You'll maintain a safe, 6S-driven workplace, complete documentation and labels, and handle scrap and rework as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow standard work instructions.
• Basic math, tool handling and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot and clean machines to maintain product flow and meet service goals.
• Maintain a safe 6S-focused work environment for self and others.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards with QA on first piece/inspection.
• Accurately fill out all documentation and labels.
• Handle scrap, rework and mixed products as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
