Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security professional to ensure safe, secure access and excellent guest interaction at the property. You will greet residents and guests, maintain logs, and operate electronic security systems.

The role requires written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to work overnight shifts as scheduled. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Florida Security License D, and 2–3 years in a similar role; bilingual English/Spanish is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Florida Security License D required.
• Bilingual English & Spanish is desirable.
• 2–3 years of business experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
• Reads and understands The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Association Manager.
