Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a security professional to ensure safety and service levels for residents, guests, and service providers at a property in Florida. The role involves greeting attendees, registering guests, monitoring access, and maintaining daily logs and forms.

Candidates must hold a valid Florida Security License “D” and have strong customer-service skills. The position requires the ability to respond to emergencies and work varied shifts, with potential additional duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License “D” required.
• Must possess strong customer service background.
• 2–3 years of business experience in similar position preferred.
• Proficient with information systems; strong written and verbal communication.
• Multilingual abilities desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
• Reads and understands The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
