Job summary

Carvana in Florida is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate to help protect people, assets, and vehicles at our Inspection Center. You will greet associates, vendors, and visitors, monitor access points, and work with the Safe and Secure Team to uphold inventory control and safety protocols.

This role requires strong communication, smart decision-making, and the ability to de-escalate conflicts in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document movement of cars into/out of the Inspection Center gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Lead with effective communication; active listening and collaboration.
• Conduct routine patrols; document security and safety concerns.
• Assist with badge creation, CCTV review, and access-related tasks.
• Uphold incident response protocols and de-escalate when needed.
