Job summary

Carvana in Bradenton, FL seeks a Safe and Secure Associate to protect people, assets, and operations at our facility. You will manage vehicle movements, be the face of Carvana to visitors, and uphold safety and security procedures 24/7.

The role emphasizes strong communication, incident response, and collaboration with team leads while you train in life-saving skills and use CCTV/RFID tools. This is a full-time hourly position offering benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to our associates, our vendors, and anyone visiting a site.
• Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers.
• Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings.
• Become trained and certified on first aid, CPR, and AED.
• Assist with badge creation, CCTV review, and related components.
• Promote an incident-ready focus and follow the Incident Response Protocol.
• De-escalate situations while upholding Carvana values.
• Enforce Safe and Secure Principles at entrances/exits.
• Utilize the Safe and Secure App (SAS App) and RFID Technology.
• Deliver a service-first approach in all duties.
• Contribute to Carvana's growth and safety culture.
