Job summary

Calvert County Nursing Center is currently seeking a RN Weekend Supervisor for 11:00pm - 7:30am shift. The RN Supervisor is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• RN Weekend Supervisor for 11:00pm - 7:30am shift; supervises nursing staff and ensures compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour oversight for resident care on assigned unit.
• Monitors and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Completes and reviews accident/incident reports and follows up as necessary.
• Makes rounds on unit to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met.
• Communicates changes in resident condition to physician and family.
• Maintains records of resident grievances and actions taken.
• Acts as a resource for nursing staff.
• Works with ADON/DON to provide orientation and continuing education.
