Job summary

North Port Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee nursing personnel and day-to-day activities during weekend shifts. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and ensures compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong understanding of nursing practices, medical procedures, and regulatory requirements related to nursing care centers.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical care planning and delivery to ensure coordinated, quality resident care, including review and updates of care plans.
• Assess residents upon admission and periodically as their condition changes.
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident status and identify needs.
• Provide or assist with direct resident care when necessary, including activities of daily living, meal support, medication and treatment administration, and participation in leisure activities as appropriate.
