Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and develop individualized nursing plans in a fast-paced Ortho-focused unit.

Ideal candidates hold TX RN licensure (compact accepted), a current BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong support network within HCA Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associates degree acceptable to start; Bachelors degree required within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in TX or compact state.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience within last 3 years.
• Experience in Orthopedics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop/adjust care plans.
• Provide teaching and emotional support to patients and families.
• Care for multiple patients and supervise delegated tasks as needed.
• Evaluate patient responses to therapies and adjust interventions accordingly.
