Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a House Supervisor (RN) for per diem night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

to ensure coordinated patient care and supervision of the nursing staff on duty. The House Supervisor will work with the Intake and Admissions team on admissions, discharges, and transfers, while contributing to performance improvement and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of an associate degree in nursing or BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: Understanding of The Joint Commission, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Must have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care according to standards and hospital policy.
• Provide direct supervision of nursing staff, patients, and patient care during the shift.
• Collaborate with Intake and Admissions regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
