Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS Facility, is seeking a House Supervisor (RN) for per diem night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. This role provides leadership and oversight of nursing staff and patient care across a 144-bed behavioral health unit.

The candidate will supervise on the night shift, work with admissions on bed management, and contribute to quality improvement and policy adherence in a dynamic psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of an associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Must have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care per standards of care and hospital policy.
• Provide direct supervision of nursing staff, patients, and care during the shift.
• Collaborate with Intake/Admissions regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
