Advocate Health is seeking a part-time RN leader for the 7p-7a night shift. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure policy compliance, and optimize patient flow across units. This role emphasizes collaboration with nurse leaders and the Administrator-On-Call to maintain safe, efficient care.

Requirements include BSN, RN licensure, BLS, and CPI within 90 days. Experience in management is preferred, with opportunities for growth within Advocate Health's comprehensive Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Two years nursing experience preferred; management experience preferred.
• BSN required; non-BSN candidates must enroll within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required; CPI certification within 90 days; professional certification within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Communicates administrative issues to nurse leaders and on-call administrators; conducts unit rounds to assess efficiency and satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with the Nursing Practice Act and company policies.
• Coordinates shift communications via huddles and rounds to share information.
• Oversees nursing staff performance, identifies issues, and documents actions.
• Advises nurses on treatments and policies; responds to emergencies.
• Coordinates patient flow and admissions/discharges with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitors staffing for current and upcoming shifts using Float Pool and PRN resources.
