Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the applicable state(s)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Proficiency with electronic records and digital platforms

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and care process improvement.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans; collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold patient safety and effective communication within the team.
• Document accurately in the EHR and maintain timely records
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to department policies and procedures
