Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. You will monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, provide respiratory support, and assist during intubations and procedures at the bedside.

Required: MA respiratory license, NBRC CRT, an associate degree in Respiratory Care, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation. Preferred: ACLS/PALS and cross-campus experience. Sign-on bonus available for external new hires; schedule includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current MA Respiratory license or eligibility.
• NBRC CRT credential required or in process.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent.
• BLS certification is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support patients on mechanical ventilation.
• Assist physicians during intubations and bedside procedures.
• Set up and monitor ventilators and oxygen delivery equipment.
• Obtain arterial blood gases and blood samples for analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-campus teams and code airway actions as needed.
