Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide for night shifts (6pm-6am) including every other weekend to provide quality care and daily living assistance to residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, responding to resident calls, maintaining confidentiality, supporting move-ins, coordinating with nursing staff, and participating in activity programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals (e.g., RN/LPN, ED).
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting resident activity programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
