Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Nashville, TN to provide quality care and assistance with daily living activities for residents. You will report incidents to nursing staff and follow all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, housekeeping, responding to calls, facilitating activities, and maintaining confidentiality. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program as applicable by state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and apartments as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report status to supervisors.
• Assist residents to meals and activities, and monitor attendance.
• Communicate resident status and changes to the team.
