Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality daily living assistance to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, housekeeping, and participate in activity programs.

The role requires good communication, reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs; walk/stand for extended periods.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and rooms.
• Assist with dining room duties and accompany residents to meals.
• Plan and conduct activity programs; monitor resident participation.
• Report resident status and concerns to appropriate staff.
• Support move-in transitions and provide emotional support to new residents.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all policies and procedures.
