Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA in Murfreesboro, TN to provide quality daily living assistance and compassionate care for residents. You will support residents with activities of daily living, movement, and engagement in activities, while adhering to policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, performing routine tasks, coordinating with nursing staff, and maintaining clean living spaces.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties (beds, apartments, common areas, dining room) as directed.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Assist residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Communicate status and updates to the team in writing and verbally.
