Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC seeks a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Murfreesboro, TN to provide quality daily living assistance to residents. You will support activities of daily living, perform light housekeeping, and respond to calls and alerts promptly.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, complete a state-approved PCA program, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required; weekend and holiday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed (beds, apartments, common areas).
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Check on residents and report status to appropriate individuals.
• Communicate verbally and in writing to report resident status, appointments, admissions, and transfers.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
