Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge of EPIC software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Initiates patient records by interviewing patients or a representative.
• Ensures registration is complete and follows up when needed.
• Contacts insurance companies to obtain admission certification.
• Maintains patient records during discharge, edits, transfers and closures.
• Performs preregistration and supports training of new registrars.
• Handles calls and emergencies, supports night operations, and follows safety duties.
