Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of EPIC software and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Initiate patient records by interviewing patients or a representative.
• Ensure registration is complete and follow up if needed.
• Contact insurance for admission certification when required.
• Monitor emergencies and alert appropriate triage staff.
• Maintain patient records by discharge, editing, transferring.
• Cover night operator and handle calls and emergencies as needed.
• Assist in preregistration and train new registrars.
