Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. in the Roanoke area is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the night shift in a confidential beverage manufacturing environment.

Base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, with Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule and potential weekend/holiday coverage. You will lead QA personnel on the production floor and in the laboratory, oversee audits and testing, drive process improvements, and partner with departments to maintain food safety and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences or related field.
• 1–3 years of QA experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical, math and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, organization and team development skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
• Willingness to work the overnight schedule and flexibility for extra coverage.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel, set daily priorities and communicate expectations for quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Develop team members through coaching, training and feedback.
• Partner with Production to address quality concerns and maintain food safety standards.
• Oversee quality management programs, including documentation, training and audits.
• Support regulatory, certification, customer and product specifications.
• Review lab results for accuracy and investigate deviations.
• Recommend process improvements based on data and quality performance.
• Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits.
• Lead continuous improvement to strengthen product quality and customer satisfaction.
