Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Roanoke area, with a night shift that runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, with some weekend/holiday flexibility.

The role leads QA on the production floor and in the laboratory, ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while coaching staff and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable education in biology, chemistry, food science, or related field.
• You have 1–3 years of QA or manufacturing experience in food/beverage sectors.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing and food industry practices.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem solving abilities.
• Effective communication and team-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel, set priorities, and communicate expectations for quality and safety.
• Coach and develop team members with performance feedback.
• Collaborate with Production to address quality concerns and uphold food safety.
• Oversee QA programs, documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Support regulatory, certification, and customer specifications and audits.
• Review lab results, investigate deviations, and identify trends.
• Recommend process improvements from testing data and quality metrics.
• Prepare for internal and external audits and assessments.
• Lead continuous improvement to strengthen product quality and customer satisfaction.
