Aspiring Beverage Company in the Roanoke area seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the night shift to lead QA on the production floor and in the lab, ensuring products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will develop a high-performing team and drive testing accuracy and audits.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, an associate or technical degree, and hands‑on QA and lab testing skills. Night shift work is required with potential weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences, or related field.
• 1–3 years of QA or manufacturing experience in a food/beverage setting.
• Experience with lab testing and food safety practices.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and team development abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced production environment.
• Willingness to work the stated overnight schedule with flexibility for coverage.

Responsabilités

• Lead QA personnel, set daily priorities, and communicate expectations for quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
• Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Production and other departments to address quality concerns and maintain food safety standards.
• Oversee quality management programs, including documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Support compliance with regulatory, certification, customer, and product specifications.
• Review laboratory results for accuracy, investigate exceptions, and identify unfavorable trends.
• Recommend process improvements based on testing data and quality performance.
• Prepare for and assist with internal audits and external regulatory, certification, and customer assessments.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts that strengthen product quality and customer satisfaction.
