Qualifications

• 0–2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to collect venipuncture and capillary samples.
• Follows safety, infection control and patient identification standards.
• Excellent communication and patient care.
• Flexibility to work night shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and capillary blood collection according to policy.
• Ensures proper patient identification and bedside labeling.
• Prepares, packages, and transports specimens to lab while maintaining integrity.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure comfort.
• Cleans and maintains phlebotomy equipment and workspace.
• Documents patient and specimen data in the lab system.
• Collects timed specimens as ordered and meets clinical needs.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to resolve collection challenges.
• Adheres to safety and accreditation standards.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with all policies.
