Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. in Fairhope, AL seeks a skilled Phlebotomist for a contract role on the 3rd shift, 8:30pm–7:00am, Mon-Fri with rotating weekends. Duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, result recording, and ensuring specimen integrity. Requires valid phlebotomy certification and 6+ months in a fast-paced lab; MS Office proficiency desired.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification required for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge and process specimens; record maintenance data.
• Ensure proper sample handling and storage per protocol and OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimens and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity during transport.
• Attend annual department trainings and assist with troubleshooting and workflow improvements.
