Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Fairhope, AL. The position is a 3rd shift (8:30pm-7:00am), 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends, for an initial 3-month duration with potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and accurate data recording, with an emphasis on safety and compliance. Requires 6+ months venipuncture experience and valid phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Update patient information and document tests.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure protocol.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
