Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah is seeking a full-time Night Shift Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team and, when needed, cover Health Unit Coordinator duties.

You will perform basic patient care, monitor vitals, assist with mobility, and collaborate with RNs to deliver safe, compassionate care. CNA/BLS required; opportunities for professional growth offered.

Formación

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Utah candidates: CNA certification verified or recent CNA training; must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Fundamentals of Nursing course with passing grade; CNA certification obtained within 120 days.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care and respond to patient/family requests.
• Report and record patient care findings in a timely manner.
• Monitor patient condition and secure assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties on the unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May assume health unit coordinator responsibilities (phones, orders, records, supplies).
• Follow safety policies and emergency procedures.
