Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Night Patient Care Assistant in the Clinical Decision Unit at 90 Blossom Street, Boston. The role supports admitted general medicine patients, performing essential care tasks, monitoring vitals, and documenting in the EHR under licensed supervision.

The position offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, shift differentials, generous PTO, MBTA pass, childcare resources, and a retirement plan. Evening, night, and weekend rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong patient/customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient in computer skills to work with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care-related duties and clinical tasks as assigned, including vital signs, EKGs, bathing, and feeding.
• Documents measurements, intake/output, and blood glucose in the EHR.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and patient transport as needed.
• Maintains patient rooms and equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Communicates with nursing staff and supports a collaborative team environment.
