Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to assist in clinical support under the supervision of a registered nurse. The PCA helps promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Shifts are night hours with a 32-hour workweek, onsite at 2014 Washington Street in Newton, MA. A $750 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates and comprehensive benefits accompany regular employment.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA, PCT, MA or EMT or commensurate experience required.
• NWH PCA Training Program completion or nursing student with fundamentals/clinical rotation may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
• Work under the direction of a registered/licensed nurse (RN).
• Provide care as part of the interdisciplinary health care team.

Education

CNA/PCT/MA/EMT certification or commensurate experience
