Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Newton-Wellesley Hospital seeks a Patient Care Associate to join the interdisciplinary health care team under RN supervision. The PCA will assist in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment, including overnight shifts on a three-night schedule with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualified candidates may hold CNA/PCT/MA/EMT certification or commensurate experience; nursing students in BSN or direct-entry master's

Qualifications

• CNA/PCT/MA/EMT cert or commensurate experience required.
• NWH PCA Training Program eligibility if not certified.
• Nursing students in BSN/direct-entry programs preferred for hires.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
• Work under the direction of a registered nurse (RN).
• Provide care during night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) on a three- nights-per-week schedule.
