Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to support clinical care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help promote a safe and compassionate patient environment on the night shift, contributing to essential care delivery.

The role requires CNA/PCT/MA/EMT certification or enrollment in the NWH PCA Training Program, with nursing student candidates welcome if they have completed fundamentals with a clinical component.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience required unless enrolled in the NWH Patient Care Associate Training Program, or is a nursing student who has completed fundamentals with a clinical component.
• For nursing students hired as PCAs, strongly prefer BSN programs or direct-entry Master’s programs.

Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, assist in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
• Contribute to the delivery of quality patient care during night shifts.
