Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago is seeking a Patient Care Technician – Nursing Assistant for Swedish Hospital. This full-time night-shift role supports nursing staff with direct patient care, vitals, hygiene, mobility, and meals while maintaining patient safety.

You will work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse Manager, document in the EMR, and uphold confidentiality. Requires CNA training and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or completion of accredited nursing assistant training or equivalent.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interact effectively with others, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients on assigned unit under supervision of Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health-care team.
• Follow standard precautions and PPE usage.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and elimination needs.
• Prepare patient rooms and assist with admissions and vitals collection.
• Document vital signs and care in EMR and maintain patient privacy.
