Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Neurology Unit – Nights. This part-time role (24 hours/week) requires a 7:00pm–7:30am schedule with every other weekend and an orientation during the first week.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, vital signs, specimen collection, and documentation in the EMR under RN/LPN supervision, helping ensure safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited CNA course and CNA certification exam, EMT or paramedics training, or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with major clinical rotation.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
• Obtain vitals, input/output checks, accu-checks, and report abnormalities.
• Document basic patient care in the electronic medical record and support admission/discharge/transfer activities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CNA Certification (or CNA coursework completed with certification exam)
