Job summary

The Home Depot is launching a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) program. Trainees will rotate through overnight freight operations, work with NRMs, and learn to support store leadership in delivering sales and profitability.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum education is a high school diploma and/or GED.
Preferred education is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

Customer Experience: supervise associates and lead store culture; address customer concerns promptly.
Operations Management: manage opening/closing tasks; ensure SOPs, safety compliance, and shrink mitigation.
Safety: enforce safety and hazmat procedures and guidelines.
Sales and Productivity: plan merchandise placement, signing, and stock integrity; manage daily operations.
Training and Preparing for Assistant Manager Position: participate in a structured retail management training covering operations, customer service, sales, profitability, and policies; complete all modules and assessments.
