Job summary

The Home Depot is offering a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) program. Trainees will gain hands-on experience with overnight freight operations, work with Night Replenishment Managers, and collaborate with Store leadership to learn and implement strategies for departmental success.

During the up-to-6-week training, participants will cover OASM duties, staffing, scheduling, stock management, and service needs for installed sales and product orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 3 years of work experience; leadership experience of 3 years or more.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customer experience and model GET culture to drive service and engagement.
• Perform opening/closing MOD and other store-wide responsibilities; enforce SOPs and safety compliance.
• Ensure safety and hazmat procedures are followed by self and associates.
• Plan merchandise placement and stock integrity with partners; learn store equipment and systems.
• Participate in a structured training program to prepare for the Assistant Manager role, including performance management and disciplinary processes.
