Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of drivers and hourly staff at a single Minnesota location. You will drive daily tasks from deliveries to loading/unloading and customer service while aligning with cost objectives and performance targets.

The role includes supervising processes, coaching staff, and managing attendance, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly workforce to meet daily tasks and customer requirements.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and control overtime to meet targets.
• Maintain site safety and compliance with regulatory policies.
